Team Scott: Updates from the last two months!

-We rearranged the twin's nursery! Before, the cribs used to be under the window with a nightstand between them but older babies with longer arms meant that they could suddenly reach the drapes, the drawer on the nightstand, the camera's, and the noise machine. Here are the updated pics (taken in December):

-Arts & Crafts! We are still aiming for a few arts/crafts/activities every month. With the colder weather we tried our new indoor activities! Along with these activities shown, we also did art projects for Valentine's Day.

Eating. Lots and lots of eating! We only have two bottles per day now (morning and night) with sippy cups the rest of the day. These boys love to eat pretty much anything but can definitely be selective based on if they are teething or not. We are just beginning to really work on using spoons but are not ready to attempt plates quite yet.

Lots of playdates with friends! While at a friend's house, the boys made themselves right at home and crawled into their dog's kennel. :) We try to get together with friends a few times per week either at our home or theirs!

Here is Lucas signing his version of more. The boys are doing really well with: more, all done, and eat. They are working on: milk, please, thank you, and sorry. Their verbal language is beginning as well. They like to try and say: dog, daddy, momma, and Andrew makes a monkey sound when talking about his beloved monkey paci. The boys understand A LOT of what we say, and they are trying to talk, so we are not concerned about their verbal language. They constantly talk in their own language to one another, and they make a lot of consonant and vowel sounds, plus they try to imitate a lot of things we say.

Lucas is graduating into 24-month and 2T clothes while Andrew is transitioning from 12-month to 18-month clothes. This is a picture of Lucas in a pair of 2T pjs passed down from my nephews.
